As we are approaching the Full Moon on Wednesday/Thursday night (at 2:43 am CET on Thursday, and a few hours earlier at 9:43 pm Eastern, and 6:43 pm Pacific on Wednesday evening), the energies are building up towards the Spring Equinox, which is on the same date!! This is not something we experience often, and it is indicative of a great shift in energy.
Coming out of the past astrological year, wrapping up the last lessons to be learned, we are soooo ready for Spring! The weather over here has been particularly nasty, with a lot of rain and stormy winds for almost 2 weeks in a row, and I could hear people moan and groan, ready for the Sun to come out. As last Summer has been extremely dry here in Europe, and the soil is still desperate to have the water deficit corrected, I was trying not to complain so much about the weather (I failed dramatically, I must admit, I was so done with the weather!!).
Nature is always creating balance, and this is something to be thankful for, although it's not always what we, humans, like to see or experience, because it interferes with how we try to control nature.
As the upcoming Full Moon will fall in Libra, the sign of balance, we will be reminded of this phenomenon in ourselves as well. Libra is the 'scales' and trying to find balance in all areas of life, but particularly in relationships, and through our communion with ourselves, others, and the world around us.
The Equinox (Spring in the Northern Hemisphere, Fall in the Southern) is here. Equinox comes from Latin and means Equal Night, meaning that the day and night are equally long. There is perfect balance. This is needed for nature to come alive and for animals (like birds, and cattle) to receive the signal that it's time to be fertile, lay eggs, and mate. Here we see both the Aries and Libra energies combined - Aries wants to create something new, and Libra seeks balance through communion.
There is something else going on in the cosmic energy and that is the conjunction (alignment) of Chiron with the Sun in Aries. Chiron is an asteroid, representing the 'wounded healer'. This archetype expresses how we all go through life suffering wounds and how we are all experiencing pain in some way. During our life's journey, it is our 'sacred path' to discover how to overcome these wounds and create our own medicine, to share this with the world for collective healing.
I know that you are aware of this principle because you are finding value in these Moon Reports. You are aware of your wounds, as well as your gifts. You are destined to make an impact with your medicine and help humanity forwards in its evolution.
The transit of Chiron in Aries has just started and we are transitioning from a 7-year time frame where Chiron was in Pisces. This 7-year period, we have been collectively hurting. Now that Chiron has shifted into Aries, it's time to gather our medicine, and start something new. It's time to be courageous and fearless, and to start sharing your medicine with the world and make an impact.
Chiron is about healing, personal and collective. This Full Moon can mark a shift for you, where you can feel that it is possible to finally release the wounds from the past. Think about what Libra teaches us - balance. When you are able to find balance between you and the world (boundaries), you and your close relationships (communicating needs and desires in a healthy way), and yourself (balance in energy, action & rest), this creates a powerful container for healing.
Release your wounds with this Libra Full Moon and decide that you are stepping into a new phase of your life. Own your medicine and make an impact.
